Tegan And Sara have a new video for their single Closer, taken from their upcoming album Heartthrob, out on January 29.

Director Isaac Rentz, who previously worked with Cage The Elefant and Motion City Soundtrack, knew how to show the new catchy and poppy style of the Canadian twin sisters by featuring a fun party with a trampoline and karaoke.

ISC Deadline Extended To NOV. 1ST, 2012

International Songwriting Competition has extended their 2012 Submission Deadline to November 1st.

Over 60 winners will share in the cash and prizes, further their music careers, and gain recognition and exposure in the music industry. Plus Tegan  + Sara are just two of the awesome judges of this year’s contest.

On their first show of the tour, which includes dates with The Black Keys and The KillersTegan And Sara played new tracks from their forthcoming seventh album, still untitled. The new songs played were: I Was A Fool, I’m Not Your Hero, Messed Up,  and their single, Closer.

Tegan And Sara add new tour dates

Tegan and Sara announced a few months ago that they will be supporting The Black Keys on their North American tour and now they added new dates, which you can see below. The Canadian twins finished recording their seventh album, so let’s hope they play their new songs!

September 23 – Vancouver, BC – The Vogue Theatre
September 24 – Seattle, WA – Neptune Theatre
September 25 – Boise, ID – Knitting Factory
September 28 – Eugene, OR – Cuthbert Amphitheater
