Yeah Yeah Yeahs Announce New Album

Mosquito will be out in April 16th through Interscope Records. The new record was produced by Dave Sitek from TV on the Radio and Nick Launay. It’s the follow-up to their 2008 release It’s Blitz, in which Yeah Yeahs Yeahs took a more electronic approach. The band recently performed some new songs in a show in Pomona, California, that you can watch here. 

New YEAH YEAH YEAHS Album

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs announced on Twitter: “DNA upgrades, spontaneous evolution and NEW YEAH YEAH YEAHS RECORD ARRIVING SPRING 2013! finally.”

Finally indeed. The record will be the follow-up to the band’s 2009 release, It’s Blitz!
