The Yeah Yeah Yeahs announced on Twitter: “DNA upgrades, spontaneous evolution and NEW YEAH YEAH YEAHS RECORD ARRIVING SPRING 2013! finally.”
Finally indeed. The record will be the follow-up to the band’s 2009 release, It’s Blitz!

It was made in collaboration with MOCAtv, the channel for the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, for their Art + Music series. PAPA is the band of Daniel Presant and Darren Weiss, who was previously the drummer of Girls. Today, they put out a new song, Put Me To Work, which, in its two and a half minutes, is able to be like an injection of energy. Stay tuned because this band will probably release one of the most exciting records of 2013!
